Hey guys!
ITS OCTOBER! A WHOLE NEW MONTH!!
Its me again weijie(: Im here to kick start a new month with a post
I have no idea what im going to talk about and so I am going to talk about a book i read recently with some quotes that i find them meaningful in your daily life and you might even use it as your motivation to play tennis better!
Here goes the first one, " No pain, no gain". Its a simple quote that almost all of you out there has heard of it before. The message is clear, if you do not work hard for what you desire, you will most likely not be able to achieve your goals. In tennis, you might think as chasing for every ball and not giving up. There is hope of winning a point when the ball is being played back. It would be tiring, but you would gain by winning the point or eventually the game. So remember this when you are about to give up on something.
"Genius is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration". Roger Federer is no Genius in tennis without the training he has been through. Again, working hard is the key to success. So guys, attend training to improve yourself to become the best and perspire away!! :D
The last quote is " A life spent making mistakes is not only more honourable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing". I think this is the most important quote among these 3. Don't be afraid to make mistakes during training as u would become a better player while making them. You would be able to learn more rather than sticking to just one way which might not be the best. Learning through mistakes to me is the best way to remember them.
That's all for this week! Let me know how you think about this post!
Hope you like it(:
