Yes, school is starting, so are you ready for it?

Not surprisingly, our technically 2 months hols is ending, when it felt like it had started like just yesterday!
Hope that everybody had a fruitful holiday, that consists not only of playing! :D

So yeahs, I am gonna share with you this picture or phrase (whatever you call it) that I have found online at this website. I don't know if anyone had seen it before, but yeahs.

The phrase that really caught my eye out of the many phrases that I have seen there was this: Make things happen, Don't wait for things to happen.
And well, what attracted me to this phrase was not only that it was fairytale-looking because of the wand or whatever. NO. What caught me to it was because I thought that this phrase is very meaningful. Not only can this phrase be applied to life itself as a whole, but when you apply it individually, be it to a situation, or tennis, maybe a relationship, or stress... You can still apply the phrase to it and it can help you get through...

And I believe that this is a very encouraging phrase when you are feeling down, or upset, or when you think that life has no meaning to it at all. Because you know that just something that you do could actually change the entire situation.

It gives you the strength to believe that you can change the world. And maybe you can...

So, let's start the new school term with this phrase in your mind. Copy it down somewhere, or write it in your palm, or stick it on your forehead to give you strength and the ability to let you pull through the new school term unharmed.

Believe you can do it, and you will.

Lastly, before I end off this entry, just introducing a song to you, by MC Mong (feat. Lisa). It's in this youtube link:

Just go listen to it. Enjoy the last of your hols!

Movies before school starts!

Hello everyone.

School is going to start again soon. Don't know if everyone have enjoyed their holidays! I guess most people would think that the holiday is too short even though is almost 3 months long -.- including the YOG hols.

Anyways, what's a better way to spend the last few days of your holidays than catching a nice movie! But there's not much movie out there now right =S

There's the Legend Of The Fist: The Return Of Chen Zhen which have been out for awhile already. I haven't watch it, wonder if it's good. I looks like a typical fighting show again with lots of kung fu action like the previous 2 Ip Man. I think its a little over.., the way they are trying to make use of the Ip Man hype. At first Ip Man 1 was good, then Ip Man 2 makes me excited and want to watch it too. Then comes the young version of Ip Man -.-... the one that is NOT starring Donnie Yen. Then now he go act some similar to Bruce Lee movie. Lol. The rating is good though.

Other than that movie, there is 2 really great chinese movies that I would recommend watching. I have watched them myself. Er one is Detective Dee which is really good. The story line is nice and the action is good too, except one part where they are fighting and I think the effect is too weird cause I don't understand what is going on. And there is also Reign of Assassins! The trailer looks nice. The movie is great too... only until the later part where you realise... the whole movie revolves around an eunuch trying to regain his lost private part... Yea it's stupid but the movie is nice.

Some good ang moh movies I think will be very worth watching would be Eat, Pray, Love & The Other Guys. The first movie would be a story about life and romance I guess. I think the book would be alot better than the movie though, but if you are not a reader, I guess watching the movie would suffice. The second movie seems to have rather high ratings also... it stars The Rock (now calls himself Dwayne Jonhson.. Fancy name). From the comments I read I think it's just the usual funny movie that is nice to watch with friends. The trailer is pretty funny, though I think it took the few funniest parts out of the whole movie.

Movies I will NOT watch will be Buried (heard that it's a movie with only 1 scene, a guy in the coffin) and Charlie St Cloud (Watch only if you love Zac Efron).

Of course there are many other movies out there now like Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and The Girl Who Played With Fire. Hope you guys have enjoyed your holidays and maybe end it with a great movie!

Happy Holidays,
TK

P.S. Don't forget to pay $105 Tennis Fee, Coach needs to eat too.

Quotes for everybody

Hey guys!
ITS OCTOBER! A WHOLE NEW MONTH!!
Its me again weijie(: Im here to kick start a new month with a post

I have no idea what im going to talk about and so I am going to talk about a book i read recently with some quotes that i find them meaningful in your daily life and you might even use it as your motivation to play tennis better!

Here goes the first one, " No pain, no gain". Its a simple quote that almost all of you out there has heard of it before. The message is clear, if you do not work hard for what you desire, you will most likely not be able to achieve your goals. In tennis, you might think as chasing for every ball and not giving up. There is hope of winning a point when the ball is being played back. It would be tiring, but you would gain by winning the point or eventually the game. So remember this when you are about to give up on something.

"Genius is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration". Roger Federer is no Genius in tennis without the training he has been through. Again, working hard is the key to success. So guys, attend training to improve yourself to become the best and perspire away!! :D

The last quote is " A life spent making mistakes is not only more honourable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing". I think this is the most important quote among these 3. Don't be afraid to make mistakes during training as u would become a better player while making them. You would be able to learn more rather than sticking to just one way which might not be the best. Learning through mistakes to me is the best way to remember them.

That's all for this week! Let me know how you think about this post!
Hope you like it(:

Club T is READY!

OK, We have just received the club T-shirts, so we should be distributing it to you guys this couple of weeks.

Anyway just some information from our supplier:
When washing the shirt, DO NOT scrub it (So I guess just put it in the washing machine...)
And also turn it inside out before you wash it or put it in the washing machine. I think because the printings will come out if you scratch it too much.

One last BIG reminder... If you have not paid for your shirt, please do so NEXT WEEK.
No money No shirt.
